Loved reading Sidney's story with my three year old daughter. she has been afraid of seagulls but really warmed to Sid's character. the story has a lovely message, wonderful flowing rhyme and beautiful illustrations. I've just sat and read this book I bought from Gull & Buoy tonight for my daughter for Christmas, wow Emma Pickles is incredibly talented and the story had a very valuable lesson for children to be kind. The books arrived in lovely packaging (seagulls with Santa hats! what's not to like!) and was the perfect accompaniment to our Cornish Christmas. Our son loved the book and during walks recalled the story upon seeing the seagulls out and about. The cadence and rhymes are perfect for children and adults alike.
