I've just sat and read this book I bought from Gull & Buoy tonight for my daughter for Christmas, wow Emma Pickles is incredibly talented and the story had a very valuable lesson for children to be kind. A beautiful book! My 6 year old and I loved reading this book together, in which she then read it to her 2 year old sister who loved the illustrations and enjoyed finding out all about Sid! Gorgeous stories, the whole book shows that it has been made with love, right down to the choice of paper it's printed on! The stories are lovely, we have the whole set! My little ones adore practising their 'stomp'. The illustrations are beautiful and instantly make me think of the seaside.
